Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the outside provider that supplies the results. Hemet People Search does not save its own copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them to answer your message.
Automatic Technical Data
Our hosting systems create routine logs that may contain an IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the site and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
The limited data described above supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create profiles about individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links lead to Hemet resources, Riverside County and California records offices, library collections, government portals, and outside search services. Information submitted after following a link is governed by that destination's policy, not ours. The same distinction applies to sponsored results supplied by a third-party company.
When Data Is Disclosed
Companies that host or maintain the site may process technical logs for us. Analytics and advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. We may also disclose data when valid legal process requires it, but otherwise do not share visitor information.
Safeguarding Limited Data
An encrypted connection delivers the site, and server logs are kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes. Because Hemet People Search does not provide accounts, it holds no visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under Age 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Contact us if a minor may have sent personal details so the information can be removed.
California Privacy Choices
The California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, Civil Code ยง 1798.100 et seq., may give California consumers rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, and limit certain uses of sensitive information when the law applies. Because we retain little visitor data, a request generally involves checking contact messages and server logs. Submit a request through the Contact page. Government records held by the City of Hemet, Riverside County, or California agencies remain outside our control, so questions about removing or correcting those records must go to the office that keeps them.
Policy Changes
Any revised policy will appear on this page. Using the site after an update takes effect signifies acceptance of the revised terms.
